We are very pleased to be supporting the Poetry for All event in 2019. Taking place the day before the York Literature Festival launch, the poetry for all offers an accessible night of poetry. With a British Sign Language Interpreter, big Screen projection of the poems and support dogs welcome, this event is open to all.
The evening will feature performances from Deaf Firefly whose first language is British Sign Language (BSL), Jackie Hagan, an award winning performance poet, who has written for Attitude magazine, Diva magazine, Gay Star, and regularly crops up on BBC Radio Four, and BBC Ouch! and York poet Imogen Godwin.
