Babies and Infants Sensory Session, 1pm – 3pm, 10am – 12pm pm 17th

For babies and infants (from birth to 3 years) with disabilities including autism, learning disabilities and sight loss. Cost £5 per session.

Call Bob to book the sensory room for a private session.

Technology Drop in

Drop in and see us anytime between 10:30 and 2pm. Bring your device, try out our devices if you don’t have one and are wondering about the benefits, and ask questions in a friendly helpful environment. Learn how to use the features that will best suit you, and find out more about the services you may find useful.

Sensory Session

Appreciate the sights, sounds, smells and tactile nature of the multi-sensory room. Relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings or interact with the specialist equipment – the choice is yours.

10am – 12 noon & 1pm – 3pm

£5 per session

6th and 20th June

Active Sensory

Activites may include floor basket ball and parachute activities with tactile, light up and ringing balls, and chair exercises for people with limited sight and/or mobility, including wheelchair users. Cool down uses meditation mood music for relaxation.

Yorsensory outreach unit at Acomb Library and York Explore, for advice, equipment demo, help and support for low vision and hearing loss

Acomb Library 10.30 am—12.30pm

York Explore 13:00 – 15:30pm

Open Day at Wilberforce House 10am – 2pm

Come along and find out more about the Trust, the role of a support worker and attend an informal interview

Fundraising Stall at York Hospital 10am – 4pm

Come along and support our volunteers as they run our stall. Selling jewellery, books, toiletries and more to raise funds for the Trust.

Music Night

Music Night is a chance for those with disabilities and/or sight loss to get together socially, listening to and joining together in singing popular songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and more. A cycle of live bands, individual musicians and karaoke nights.

7pm to 8.30pm.

£3 per person

Karaoke Friday

With a huge selection of songs to choose from there is something to suit all tastes.
