Music Night

Music Night is a chance for those with disabilities and/or sight loss to get together socially, listening to and joining together in singing popular songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and more. A cycle of live bands, individual musicians and karaoke nights. 

7pm to 8.30pm.

£3 per person

 

4th May

Karaoke Friday

With a huge selection of songs to choose from there is something to suit all tastes.

10am – 11:30am

5th and 19th May

Childrens Sensory Session, 10am – 12pm

For children with multiple disabilities including learning disabilities and sight loss. Cost £5 per session.

 

5th and 20th May

Babies and Infants Sensory Session, 1pm – 3pm on 5th, 10am – 12pm on the 20th.

For babies and infants (from birth to 3 years) with disabilities including autism, learning disabilities and sight loss. Cost £5 per session.

 

7th and 21st May

Private Sensory Sessions

Call Bob to book the sensory room for a private session.

 

8th and 22nd May

Sensory Session

Appreciate the sights, sounds, smells and tactile nature of the multi-sensory room. Relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings or interact with the specialist equipment – the choice is yours.

10am – 12 noon & 1pm – 3pm

£5 per session

 

9th and 23rd May

Active Sensory

Activites may include floor basket ball and parachute activities with tactile, light up and ringing balls, and chair exercises for people with limited sight and/or mobility, including wheelchair users. Cool down uses meditation mood music for relaxation.

This month we will be joined by Catherine Harrison from Age UK to talk about services available in York, for example the Befriending Good Neighbour scheme, Home Services Directory, Equipment Hire and Help at Home.

10:30 – 12:00pm, there will be refreshments and a raffle too.
